On 03/08/15 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested 55 year old Teresa E. Balderas 1904 E. Myrtle Ave., Johnson City, TN charging her with Aggravated Assault Domestic and Violation of Protection Order/Contempt of Court. The arrest was the result of a 911 call from Balderas reporting she had been assaulted by a family member. The investigation revealed that she herself was actually the aggressor in an argument where the family member suffered minor injuries. Balderas had an active Order of Protection on her ordering her to not have violent contact with the same family member. Balderas was booked into the Washington County Detention Center under a $5,000.00 bond and has an arraignment date set for 3/09/15 at 1:30 pm in Washington County General Sessions Court.
