On 3-21-2015, Johnson City Police arrested two Virginia women on multiple charges after responding to a shoplifting complaint at J.C. Penney, 2011 N. Roan Street. Anita D. Neal, 53 yoa, of 138 Adwolfe Rd, Marion, VA, and Delana E. Neal, 30 yoa, of Gollsby St, Marion, VA, were apprehended by J.C. Penney loss prevention employees for shoplifting clothing and jewelry. Police took the women into custody for the shoplifting and subsequently found drugs and paraphernalia in their purses. Anita Neal was charged with possession of Schedule II, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, and Theft of Property under $500 and was booked into the Washington County Detention center on a $12,000 bond. Delana Neal was charged with possession of medication without prescription, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, and Theft of Property under $500 and was booked into the Washington County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond. Both are scheduled for arraignment on the 23rd of March at 1:30 P.M.
