On 10/28/14, Investigators of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Ryan M. Ramey (218 B South Hills Dr., Elizabethton, 26 years old) and charged him with aggravated burglary and theft of property over $1,000.
On 10/17/14, officers responded to 1223 Lowell St. in reference to a burglary. Later in the day on 10/17/14, officers responded to the area of Washington Ave. where the victims were able to track their stolen phone. Ramey was found to be in possession of another stolen phone in an unrelated case in which he was later charged with aggravated burglary and theft of property over $500. Investigators received information that Ramey was in possession of property from the burglary on Lowell St.
Investigators served the warrant at the Washington County Detention Center where he was being held on previous charges. He is being held in lieu of a $30,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 10/29/14 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
