On 7/22/14, Officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Joshua Lee Fender (1085 7th Street, Erwin, TN, 26 years old) on charges of Auto Burglary, Theft over $1,000, Credit Card Fraud under $500, and Felon in Possession of a Handgun.
On 7/04/13, Officers with the Johnson City Police Department received a report of an Auto Burglary that occurred in the 1400 Block of Pactolas Rd. The victim reported that someone entered his vehicle and stole a Colt Revolver and credit cards. The credit cards were then used in Erwin and Johnson City. Video was obtained and the suspect was identified as Josh Lee Fender. Through continued investigation, the firearm was recovered from the suspect’s home. Josh Fender is a convicted Felon. Warrants were obtained for the arrest of Josh Fender.
On 7/21/14 Josh Fender was arrested on unrelated charges and taken to the Washington Co. Detention Center. On 7/22/14, the warrant was served on him there. The defendant is being held on a $31,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on 7/23/14 at 1:30 pm.
