On 12/13/2020, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Joey W. White (1700 Dave Buck Rd. Johnson City, 32 years old) and charged him with aggravated domestic assault and domestic vandalism.
On this date at approximately 2:00 p.m., officers were investigating an unknown disturbance in the parking lot of Doe Ridge Apartments. Upon arrival, it was determined that White physically assaulted his girlfriend, damaged her vehicle and threw her cell phone in a wooded area to prevent her from calling authorities. He was placed under arrest and charged with aggravated domestic assault and domestic vandalism.
White was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $6,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 12/14/2020 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
