On 11/06/2020, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Joshua Burgner (217 Knob Creek Dock Rd, #17, Johnson City, TN, 41) and charged him with aggravated assault.
At approximately 11:39 pm, officers responded to the area of Captain D’s, 2424 N Roan St on an assault call. The assault investigation showed that the victim and Burgner got into an argument at the Rainbow Asian Cuisine, 2412 N Roan St. During the argument Burgner struck the victim with a beer bottle causing a minor cut above the victim's left eye.
Burgner was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond. Burgner has a preliminary court appearance scheduled for 11/09/20 at 1:30 pm in Washington County Sessions Court.
