On 11/4/2020, investigators of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Justin Moody (2110 Chimney Top Loop, Fall Branch, 32 years old) and charged him with two counts of Theft of Property over $10,000.
The arrest occurred as a result of numerous thefts dating back to February, 2020 from American Eagle and Hollister. Investigators discovered Moody works for a company contracted to pick up and deliver packages. Moody would open the packages and steal the merchandise inside. The merchandise stolen is estimated to be $30,000 from American Eagle and $35,000 from Hollister.
Moody was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. An arraignment is set for 11/5/2020 at 1:30 p.m. in Washington County General Sessions Court.
