On 05/24/2020 at 3:07am officers of the Johnson City Police Dept. arrested 21 year old Darius D. Woodbury, of 1000 Syone Gate Rd. Kingsport, TN, charging him with aggravated assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Officers responded to Numans Sports Bar and Café, 225 E Main St., in reference to a subject waving a firearm at a patron of the bar. Officers found the suspect, Mr. Darius D. Woodbury, leaving the area as a passenger in a vehicle. After stopping the vehicle, officers located the firearm and took Mr. Woodbury into custody after he was identified by witnesses as the person brandishing the firearm. He is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $60,000 bond and is set to appear in the Washington County Sessions Court on 05/25/2020 at 10:30 am.
