On 05/13/20, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Cecilia Heatherly (441 Cedar Grove Rd, 44 yrs old) and charged her with Auto Theft over $1,000. The arrest stems from an investigation into the theft of a 2007 Saturn SL2 from Heritage Mobile Home Park, 2701 S Roan St, on 07/02/19.
The investigation revealed that Ms. Heatherly sold the vehicle to a local wrecker service, who in turn scrapped the vehicle at a local metal recycler. This was done without the owner’s knowledge or consent.
Ms. Heatherly is being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of an $8,500 bond. She is scheduled for Arraignment in Washington County General Sessions Court on 05/20/20 at 1:30 pm.
