On 11/14/19, officers of Johnson City Police Department arrested Lisa Goodridge (604 N Pine St., Elizabethton, 44 years old) and charged her with theft of property over $2,500, simple possession, possession of methamphetamine, and criminal impersonation.
At approximately 2:35 p.m. officers observed a vehicle matching the description of one officers were looking for in reference to another case. When officers checked the license plate it was discovered that the vehicle was stolen. Officers made contact with Ms. Goodridge inside of the vehicle. She refused to give officers her name during the investigation and then provided a false name.
Officers took Ms. Goodridge into custody and began an inventory of the vehicle. While searching the vehicle a bottle containing methamphetamine was found as well as several other pills. Ms. Goodridge was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where she is being held in lieu of a combined $2,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 11/15/19 in Washington County Sessions Court.
