On 11/01/2019, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Allen Lewis (General Delivery, Johnson City, TN 32 years old) and charged him with Burglary.
At approximately 09:20 p.m., Officers were dispatched to 305 Royal Circle, Apt 47 in reference to a male subject that had broken a window pane and entered the residence. Upon officer’s arrival, they observed broken glass from a window pane of the front door and yelling coming from inside of the apartment. Officers then made announcements for the male subject to exit the apartment with his hands visible, to which he complied. He was then detained and after a short investigation it was found that he had broken the glass pane with his elbow and made entry into the residence. Upon entering the residence he took a metal pipe and swung it at the resident of the apartment causing her to fear for her life, thus running out of the apartment and calling 911. Mr. Lewis was then arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center for the listed charges.
He is currently being held at the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Mr. Lewis is due to appear in court for his arraignment at 1:30 p.m. on 11/04/2019 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
