On 9/26/19, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Mark A. Young (123 W Millard St., 37 year old) and charged him with domestic aggravated assault.
On 9/26/19, at 1:49 a.m., officers responded to the area of Henry St. and E. Maple St. in reference to a 911 hang-up call. While officers were responding, 911 dispatchers advised they could hear a male and female arguing, and the female was screaming to be left alone. Officers located a female and Mark Young walking in the area with blood on their faces. Investigation revealed the female and Mr. Young had been in a physical altercation where she was choked. The victim had a busted and swollen lip, scratches on her neck, and bruises on her arms.
Mr. Young was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $3,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 9/26/19 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
