Officers of The Johnson City Police Department arrest Bruce Williamson, 28 years old of Elizabethton, Tennessee. On the evening of 9/17/19 Officers stopped a silver Honda Accord for an improper displayed license tag. After speaking with Mr. Williamson it was determined that his license was suspended and he had several warrants out of multiple counties. Officers placed Mr. Williamson under arrest. Officers then conducted an inventory search of his vehicle due to it being towed and located a large amount of methamphetamine inside a backpack along with a bag of marijuana. Bruce Williamson was placed under arrest and charged with possession of methamphetamine for resale, simple possession schedule VI, driving on a suspended license, and improper display of a registration. Mr. Williamson was transported to Washington County Detention Center where he is being held on a $12,000.00 bond. Mr. Williamson’s will appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on 9/18/2019 at 1:30 p.m.
