On 07/06/2019, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Tyler Riddell, 45 yr old, 2017 Indian Ridge Rd. Johnson City, and charged him with Aggravated Assault Domestic.
The arrest is due to an incident that occurred throughout the day on Wednesday, 07/03/19 at the victim’s residence and Tyler’s Welding at 2017 Indian Ridge Rd. Johnson City, TN. The investigation revealed that Riddell struck the victim multiple times causing significant scrapes and bruises on her extremities. Riddell also threw a large metal shelf at the victim and hit her in the back, requiring medical attention. The defendant was later located at Tyler’s Welding and taken into custody due to Aggravated Assault Domestic.
Mr. Riddell was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is currently being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. An arraignment is scheduled for 1:30p.m. on 07/08/2019 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
