On 7/7/2019, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Joshua A. Walker (General Delivery, 37 years old) and charged him with 23 counts of Criminal Simulation.
At approximately 4:15 A.M., officers were in the area of the Roadrunner Market at 1001 S. Roan St. Contact was made with a white male that fit the description of a suspect who committed a crime at the same location just days prior. Upon making contact with the male he was identified as Mr. Walker. An investigation revealed Walker had active warrants out of Washington County and he was placed into custody. During a search incident to arrest officers located 23 counterfeit $100 bills in Walker’s wallet. Further investigation revealed Walker intended to use the bills to make purchases in various places.
Mr. Walker was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $40,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 7/8/2019 at 1:30 P.M. in Washington County General Sessions Court.
