On 02/08/19, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Thomas David Snyder III, 305 Bulldog Miller Rd, Jonesborough, 28 years old, and charged him with a schedule 1 drug violation, a schedule 2 drug violation for resale, simple possession schedule 4 drugs, simple possession schedule 6 drugs, and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.
At approximately 2:30pm, officers made a traffic stop on a silver Honda Accord for speeding. After speaking with the occupants, including Snyder, and receiving permission to search the car, officers located approximately 30 grams of a crystal rock substance identified as Methamphetamine, a small amount of LSD, several baggies of marijuana, a blue pill identified as alprazolam, and glass pipes and scales. Mr. Snyder admitted to possession of the items, and that he was trying to sell the items.
Mr. Snyder was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $14,000 bond with an arraignment in Washington County General Sessions Court on 02/11/19 at 1:30pm.
