On 01/19/2019, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Marcus G. Prather (206 Wilson Ave, Johnson City, TN 37604: 39 years old) and charged with simple possession (marijuana), possession of methamphetamine with intent to resale, and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
At approximately 08:00 p.m., Officers were investigating a disturbance 601 W. Watauga Ave (Watauga Mart) involving Mr. Prather. During the investigation, it was discovered Mr. Prather had warrants out of several jurisdictions. Once placed in custody, Mr. Prather was found to be in possession of a scale, 14.5g of methamphetamine, and 7.56g of marijuana.
Mr. Prather was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was held on a $12,000 bond. His arraignment hearing is set for 01/22/2019 at 01:30 pm in Washington County General Sessions Court.
