On 10/30/18, at 4:45 a.m., officers of Johnson City Police Department arrested Cody P. Lobsiger, 29, 260 Union Rd., Greeneville, TN, 37745 and charged him with Reckless Endangerment and Stalking.
The arrest stems from an investigation into an incident on Bristol Hwy. in the area of Willmary Rd. According to the victim, Mr. Lobsiger was following her vehicle at an unsafe distance in a Ford Crown Victoria from this area all the way to N. Roan St. and Mockingbird Ln. During this time Mr. Lobsiger would pull up next to her vehicle and start shouting and waving his arms at her. He would then drive past her at a high rate of speed and circle back so he was following her vehicle again. During the course of this Mr. Lobsiger almost collided with her by braking in front of her vehicle, and entered the eastbound entrance ramp, but then drove back down it to continue following her. Mr. Lobsiger was apprehended by THP on unrelated charges.
Mr. Lobsiger was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held on an $11,000 bond. An arraignment is set for 10/31/18, in Washington County General Sessions Court.
