On 10/29/18, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Keisha Nicole Willingham (509 Dru Lane, Johnson City, TN., 30 years old) and charged her with theft of property over $1,000.
On 10/11/18, officers met with the complainant of a reported theft of property. A family member of a deceased relative stated that multiple checks on the victim’s account were starting to show up as deposited and cashed. These checks were passed approximately one month after the victim had passed away. Several of the checks were found to have been written to Keisha N. Willingham, and then deposited into her banking account.
On 10/29/18, Keisha N. Willingham was located while she was at the Washington County Detention Center on unrelated charges. She was served with the arrest warrant for theft of property over $1,000, and her current bond was increased by $10,000. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 10/30/18 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
