On 10/15/18, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Kelly Jean Scott (20 years old of Johnson City, TN.) and charged her with aggravated stalking.
On 10/04/18, officers responded to 925 Hamilton Place to meet with the victim in reference to stalking. The victim stated she had recently been to General Sessions Court in Greene County and the Judge issued a restraining order on Kelly J. Scott in relation to harassment charges that had been filed in Greene Co. A short time after that restraining order had been in place, Kelly J. Scott, was reported to have been following the victim in Johnson City. The victim made several turns in attempts to get away from Scott but she continued to follow. The victim had to call 911 and pull over to meet with officers.
On 10/15/18, Kelly J. Scott was located near the victim’s residence in Jonesborough and she called 911. A Washington County Deputy was nearby and he made contact with Kelly Scott. Scott was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. Kelly made a bond that had been set for $1,000.00 and she was released.
