On Tuesday, October 16, 2018, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Cynthia Morris, 47 years old, of 103 Sequoyah Dr, #7 and charged her with Aggravated Assault. The arrest stems from an investigation into a stabbing that occurred in the residence. It was determined that Mrs Morris and her husband were involved in a domestic when Mrs Morris obtained a knife from the kitchen and stabbed her husband in the leg. The victim was treated at the Johnson City Med Center and released. Mrs Morris was interviewed by an investigator where she gave a written confession. She was then charged with Aggravated Assault and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where she is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond awaiting arraignment set for October 17, 2018 at 0900 am.
