On 1/20/18, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Lance Lukens (D.O.B. 9/4/1962, 351 Minga Rd. Kingsport, TN) and charged him with Burglary.
On 1/20/18 at 8:23 a.m., officers responded to an intoxicated male, later identified as Lance Lukens, trying to break into the church at 127 Garden Dr. A female victim stated Lukens was asked to leave the church earlier because of his disruptive behavior and later returned looking for his phone. The female victim inside the church stated Lukens punched her after she asked him to leave. The victim stated Lukens fell down the steps to the church due to his extreme intoxication. Officers made contact with Lukens who was bleeding from the face. Officers took Lukens to Johnson City Medical Center for treatment for his injuries and then to Washington County Detention Center. Lukens is being held on an $10,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for Monday January 22, 2018 at 1:30 p.m.
