On Saturday, January 20, 2018 at approx. 2:34 pm, Officers of the Johnson City Police Dept. arrested Mr. Edwin Gomez, age 28, 2973 Buckingham Rd, Greenville, Tn. for Aggravated Assault and Felony Evading Arrest. Mr. Gomez was involved in a road rage incident and failed to stop for lights and siren, continuing to engage in the road rage behavior. The incident stopped after Mr. Gomez used the vehicle he was driving to ram the other party’s vehicle. The other party’s vehicle contained five victims. Mr. Gomez is being held at the Washington County Detention Center with a $50,000 bond, charged with five counts of Aggravated Assault (Domestic) and Felony Evading Arrest. Mr. Gomez is awaiting a hearing in Sessions Court on 01/22/2017 at 1:30pm.
