On 1/18/18, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Robert Debusk (125 Scenic Dr., Gray, TN., 26 years old) and charged him with theft of property over $1000.
The arrest comes as a result of an investigation into a motor vehicle theft that occurred at Browns Mill Rd. and Woodbriar Rd. on 12/3/17. The stolen vehicle was brought to Davis Recycling, 691 Woodlyn Rd. on 12/4/17 and the suspects attempted to have the vehicle scrapped for money. Through the course of the investigation, Debusk was identified as one of the suspects in the incident.
On 1/18/18, Robert Debusk was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 1/19/18 in Washington County General Sessions Court. The investigation is ongoing.
