On 1/20/17 at 2:49 p.m., officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jason Larkins, 39 yr old, 1700 Charles St, Kingsport TN, and charged him with Shoplifting/Theft under $1,000, Criminal Trespassing, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Schedule II Narcotic violation. The arrest occurred after officers were dispatched to Walmart on W Market St in reference to Mr. Larkins attempting to exit the store with merchandise he did not purchase.
Jason Larkins was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is currently being held on a $22,000 bond. An arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 1/23/17 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
