On Friday, January 13, 2017 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Brett L. Dixon, 24,
121 E. Lakeview Drive, Johnson City, TN, on a charge of identity theft, shoplifting and criminal trespassing.
The arrest occurred at Walmart, 3111 Browns Mill Road where loss prevention employees attempted to
stop Dixon but he was able to leave and was caught a short time later traveling in a vehicle away from the
store. Dixon was transported to the Washington County Detention Center and placed under a $12,000.00
bond with arraignment set for General Sessions Court on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 1:30.
