On 11/28/16, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Roderik A Johnson (7304 Hollorn Ln., Memphis, Tn., 49 years old) and charged him with Identity Theft, Simple Possession of Schedule II/ Crack Cocaine, Possession without a Prescription, and Unlawful Drug Equipment as a result of an investigation into illegal parking.
Officers made contact with Roderik Johnson as he was parked illegally on Henry St. While having conversation with the driver he provided false information about his identity that was later discovered during the investigation. Officers asked Johnson for consent to search his vehicle which he allowed. During the search officers located a small baggie of crack cocaine along with numerous items of drug paraphernalia. After officers discovered Johnson’s true identity, officers located a warrant for him out of Mississippi for Sales/Distribution of Hydrocodone and Oxycodone.
Police arrested Mr. Johnson and he was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held on a $13,000 bond. Arraignment is set for today at 1:30 p.m., in Washington County General Sessions Court.
