The estate of Otis C. Church has authorized and placed a $5,000.00 reward to anyone providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the death of Mr. Church. Otis Church was found at his residence of 1305 St. Louis Street on October 31, 2016. On October 31, 2016, officers of the Johnson City Police Department were dispatched to 1305 St. Louis Street, Johnson City in reference to a death investigation. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of the resident, Otis C. Church, 8/12/44 at the residence unresponsive.
At this time, it is being investigated as a homicide due to the manner of death. No details about the manner of death will be released at this time pending results from the autopsy and evidence being submitted to the TBI Lab for processing.
