On 6/23/16, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Billy Gill (1801 Highway 91, Elizabethton, 32 years old) and charged him with (2 cts.) auto burglary and theft over $500.
The arrest comes as a result of an ongoing investigation into two auto burglaries that occurred on the same night of 11/10/15. One theft happened in the 1600 block of Willowbrook Dr. and the other transpired in the nearby 1900 block of Woodland Ave.; wherein, a firearm was stolen out of the vehicle.
On 6/23/16, Gill was served with this most recent warrant at the Washington County Detention Center, where he is currently being held on related charges. In regards to these newest charges, Gill is being held in lieu of an additional $25,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 10:30 a.m. on 6/24/16 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
