On 6/15/16 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Troy Wilder (1303 N. Barton St, 32 years old) and charged him with Aggravated Assault, Evading Arrest by motor vehicle, Seat Belt Violation, Financial Responsibility and Driving on a Revoked License.
The incident occurred on 5/4/16 when officers pulled over Wilder for not wearing his seat belt. While officers were running his driver’s license Wilder backed into the officers’ vehicle with his and then drove off causing minor damage to both vehicles.
On 6/15/16 officers developed information that Wilder was staying at his mother’s residence at 1303 N. Barton St. After obtaining consent to search the residence officers observed the door to the attic partially open with insulation hanging out of it. Wilder was located in the attic and taken into custody.
Wilder was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $15,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 6/20/2015 at 1:30 p. m. in Washington County General Session Court.
