On 04/26/20016, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Alana P. Bailey (1185 W. Mountain View Rd., Johnson
City, TN, 31 years old) and charged her with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, DUI, and failure to obey a traffic
signal. The arrest was the result of a traffic crash investigation on W. Mountain View Rd. the same day in which the vehicle
operated by Alana Bailey disregarded a traffic control person and struck another vehicle head on causing injury to the passenger
in the other vehicle. The vehicle operated by Alana Bailey almost struck the traffic control person prior to striking the other vehicle.
Alana Bailey refused field sobriety testing and a chemical test to determine the levels of intoxicants in her blood. Alana Bailey was
placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where she is being held on a $52,000 bond with
a preliminary hearing scheduled for 04/27/16 at 9:00 a.m. in Washington County General Sessions Court.
