On 4/24/16, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Michael W. Poteet (200 Ashe St, Johnson City, TN, 53 years old) and charged him with 2 counts of forgery under $500, 2 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card under $500, and theft of property under $500.
On 2/2/16, the victim reported that his debit card was stolen at Hardees, located at 2102 W. Market St. in Johnson City. The victim’s debit card was used at Murphy USA and Walmart on W Market St later in the day. Michael W Poteet was developed as a suspect and a
warrant was issued for his arrest.
On 4/24/16, Michael W. Poteet was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held on a $5,000 bond. He was arraigned in Washington County General Sessions on 04/25/16. His case was reset to 5/3/16 at 9:00 a.m. in Washington County General Sessions Court.
