On 4/12/16, the Johnson City Police Department responded to a Bank Robbery at Eastman Credit Union, located at 113 Broyles Dr. At approximately 4:30 p.m., a male in his mid to late 20’s entered the bank and demanded money. The suspect was described as a white male with dark complexion. He was wearing dark pants, black hooded jacket, and a black scarf. The male was approximately 5’8” to 5’9” tall, 160 to 180 lbs., and had dark facial hair. The male left Eastman Credit Union on foot and fled the area. A vehicle was observed circling the bank prior to the robbery and appears to be a silver 2012-2013 Chevrolet Sonic hatchback.
