On 1/5/2016, at approximately 8:15 am, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Linda S. Hill, 61 years old, 21 Regency Square, Johnson City, for Aggravated Burglary and resisting arrest.
The arrest occurred after officers were dispatched to 22 Regency Square over a neighbor dispute. Officers made contact with the owner of apartment 22 and determined that Ms. Hill forced her way inside the victim’s apartment, took the victim’s cell phone and a screwdriver, then assaulted the victim before going back to her apartment next door. Officers located the cell phone in the parking lot which broke into several pieces after being thrown to the ground. Ms. Hill was located by police when she came out of her apartment and approached officers in the parking lot to ask them if they had any marijuana she could buy. Ms. Hill then resisted arrest when officers attempted to take her into custody. Ms. Hill was charged with Aggravated Burglary and Resisting Arrest.
Ms. Hill is being held at the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $30,000 bond. An arraignment is set for 1/6/16 at 1:30 pm, in Washington County General Sessions Court.
