On 01/04/16, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Leon Daren Swafford (b/m, 32 years old, of 3115 W. Walnut St. #5 Johnson City, TN) and charged him with one count of Theft of Property over $500. The arrest is the result of an investigation into a report that was filed by the victim who stated that Mr. Swafford rented property from their business and failed to complete payments or return the rented property. Mr. Swafford is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $5000 bond. Arraignment is scheduled for 01/05/16 at 10:30 a.m. in Washington County General Sessions Court.
