On 01/05/16, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Charles A. Cash Jr. (1205 Old Iron Mountain Road, Unicoi, TN; 34 years old) and Jeffrey A. Jackson (276 Shenandoah Drive, Johnson City, TN; 29 years old) and charged them with Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.
At approximately 10:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to assist medical personnel at 310 E. 11th Avenue, where two males were found unresponsive in a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers discovered what appeared to be a one pot meth lab laying on the driver’s lap, and paraphernalia on the passenger’s. Members of the Tennessee Methamphetamine and Pharmaceutical Task Force responded and confirmed the presence of a mobile meth lab in the vehicle. Approximately 1 gram of methamphetamine was seized.
Charles A. Cash Jr. and Jeffrey A. Jackson are currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $11,000 bond. Their arraignment hearing is set for 01/06/16 at 1:30 p.m. in Washington County’s General Sessions Court.
