On 12/16/15, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Ross B. Kelley (36 yrs old, 406 Montgomery St. #1) and charged him with 2 counts of Aggravated Assault. The arrest stems from an investigation into a stabbing at 406 Montgomery St., Johnson City on December 13, 2015. Mr. Kelley and the victim got into a verbal argument which escalated into a physical altercation. Mr. Kelley produced a knife and stabbed the victim one time in the back. Another subject attempted to break the fight up, at which point he sustained a severe laceration to his left pinky finger. Mr. Kelley is charged with 2 counts of Aggravated Assault. He is being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $100,000 bond. He is scheduled for Arraignment in General Sessions Court on 12/17/15 at 10:30 am.
