On 12/17/2015, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Darrius Akridge,19 YOA B/M , Alicia Watkins, 20 YOA B/F, and Elante Jamerson, 22 YOA B/M, who all reside at 1301 Seminole Dr Johnson City. The arrest is due to an investigation involving a suspicious vehicle parked at the Kroger’s on W State of Franklin Rd. During the investigation a total of 48 grams of marijuana, brass knuckles, digital scales, and drug paraphernalia was found. Darrius Akridge is charged with Drug Paraphernalia and Resale of Controlled Substance. Alicia Watkins is charged with Drug Paraphernalia, Resale of Controlled Substance, and Prohibited Weapons. Elante Jamerson is charged with Drug paraphernalia. Darrius Akridge and Alicia Watkins are being held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $6,000.00 and $7,000 bond respectively. Both are scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Friday December 18th at 1:30pm. Elante Jamerson was released on a misdemeanor citation in lieu of continued custody.
