On 11/29/15, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jimmy Dean Doss,( w/m, 36 years old, of 3235 Memphis Lane Bristol, VA) and charged him with one count of Theft of Property over $1000. The arrest is the result of an investigation into a report that was filed by the victim who stated that Mr. Doss was hired to deliver prefabricated wooden spiral staircase from Johnson City to San Francisco, CA. The victim advised that the property never made it to the destination and he was unable to make contact with Mr. Doss. Mr. Doss is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Arraignment is scheduled for 12/01/15 at 10:30 am in Washington County General Sessions Court.
