On 10/13/15, the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jade Aukamp, 27 year old female, Jerry Leary, 30 year old male and Michael Cox, 35 year old male, who resides at 611 North Street Johnson City, Tennessee. The arrests stem from an investigation into numerous car thefts and auto burglaries that occurred in Johnson City starting at the first of October of this year. Jade Aukamp is charged with Theft of property over $1,000.00 (2cts), Burglary of a Vehicle (5cts) and Theft of Property under $1,000.00 (1ct). Jerry Leary is charged with theft of Property over $10,000.00, Theft of Property over $1,000 (2cts), Theft of property under $500.00 (4cts) and Burglary of a vehicle under $500.00 (5cts). Michael Cox is charged with Theft of Property over $1,000.00 (1ct), Burglary of vehicle under $500.00 (2cts) and Theft of property under $500.00. Jade Aukamp in currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $64,000.00 bond. Jerry Leary is being held on a $84.000.00 bond and Michael Cox is being held on a $31,000.00 dollar bond. All three are scheduled to appear in Washington County Sessions Court on 10/22/15 at 1:30 pm.
