On 7/8/2015 officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Michael G. Debusk, a 51 year old male 714 E Maple Street, Johnson City, TN, multiple charges. Officers initiated a traffic stop for Speeding in the area of E Maple St and Cloyd St and during their investigation observed unlawful drug paraphernalia in plain view. After a K9 was used to search the vehicle, multiple items of drug paraphernalia indicating the use and sale of narcotics were found, along with marijuana. The defendant was arrested on charges of Speeding, Driving on Revoked License (3rd offense), Failure to Comply with Financial Responsibility, Improper Display of Registration, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, and the Sale/Possession/Delivery of Schedule VI Narcotics. He is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on $11,000 bond pending a court hearing on 7/9/2015 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
