On 05/16/15, Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Derek Paul Morgan, 32 yr. old male, 1400 Rock Garden Rd, Johnson City TN, 37604.
The arrest stems from an investigation into a reported burglary, earlier today, that occurred at 2701 W. Market Street and the subsequent investigation produced Morgan as a suspect. Following contact by officers, Morgan was found to be in possession of property reported stolen by the victim.
Derek Morgan is charged with Burglary and Theft of Property over $1000.00. He is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Facility on a $20,000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear in Washington County Session Court on 05/18/14 at 1:30 PM.
