On 3/19/15, officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Eddie Eugene Graybeal (Johnson City, 42 years old) charging him with theft of property over $1,000.
On 10/31/14, officers responded to the Johnson City Federal Credit Union located at 333 E. Main St., Johnson City, TN. The bank cashed a check for Eddie E. Graybeal and later received a notification that a stop payment had been issued. During the investigation it was found that a replacement check had been issued to Graybeal after the initial check was reported as missing. The replacement check was then cashed at Walmart in Elizabethton.
On 3/19/15, Eddie E. Graybeal was located and the arrest warrant was served. He was taken to the Washington County Detention Center where he was placed on a $10,000 bond. A preliminary court date was set for 03/20/15 at 1:30 p.m. in Washington County General Sessions Court in Jonesborough TN.
