On February 10, 2015, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Danny Jack Wright (11 Willow Tree Ln., Johnson City, 61 years old) and charged him with one count of Theft of Property (over $500.00)
This arrest is the result of an investigation into fraudulent returns made by Wright during his employment as a manager with Dicks Sporting Goods located at 2011 N Roan St Johnson City, TN. During the investigation, Wright admitted to unlawfully taking money from the business valued at $910.64. Wright surrendered himself today at the Washington County Detention Center and is being held in lieu of a $5,000.00 bond. He is scheduled for arraignment in Washington County General Sessions Court on February 11, 2015 at 9:00 AM.
