On 02/10/15, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Kimberly D. McDaniel (166 Manor Way, Apt. 1, Louisville, TN 37777; 54 years old) and charged her with shoplifting.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., officers responded to JC Penney’s, 2011 N. Roan Street, on a report of theft. Upon arrival, officers found McDaniel detained by loss prevention employees. According to these employees, McDaniel was detained after exiting the store with unpaid for merchandise, concealed in shopping bags taken from behind a cash register. The recovered merchandise, consisting of clothing and cosmetics, was valued at $1,094.00.
McDaniel was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where she is being held in lieu of a $1,000 bond. Her arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 02/11/15 in Washington County’s General Sessions Court.
