On 2/5/15, officers with the Johnson City Police Department were informed that Connie Elizabeth Andes, 51 years old, had been arrested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department on a probation violation. The Johnson City Police Department had outstanding arrest warrants on Connie E. Andes for obtaining narcotics by fraud and forgery. The arrest warrants were served on her while she was in the custody of the Washington County Detention Center.
The arrest is the result of an investigation into the theft and fraudulent use of a prescription pad from a doctor’s office in Johnson City. After the prescription pad was stolen, it was used on multiple occasions to unlawfully obtain narcotics at local pharmacies in Johnson City. The prescriber information and name was also forged on the documents.
Connie E. Andes is currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center without bond. A preliminary court date has been set in General Sessions Court in Jonesborough on 2/6/15 at 1:30 p.m.
