On Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at approximately 12:24 pm., Officers of the Johnson City Police Department served a felony arrest warrant on Hope Elizabeth Close. Ms. Close, DOB 10/29/1980, of 2709 S. Roan St. Lot 9, Johnson City, TN was charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault. The arrest was the result of an investigation of an assault that occurred at the residence on 12/27/2015 in which she attacked her sister and sister’s boyfriend. Close was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Detention Center on a bond of $50,000 with an arraignment set for Thursday, January 29th, 2015, at 1:30 pm in the Washington County General Sessions Court.
