On 01/15/15, Investigators with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Lorie A. Burchette (1102 Idle Wylde Cir. Johnson City, TN 39 years old) on charges of Auto Burglary and Theft of Property under $500.
On 01/15/15, Officers with the Johnson City Police Department responded to 1060 Charter Row, Miller Crest Apts., in reference to an Auto Burglary. The complainant advised that two subjects were observed getting into multiple vehicles in the parking lot. Officers responded to the scene and located Lorie Burchette. She was located near several items in bags, some of which was later determined to have been stolen from at least one vehicle in the lot. Lorie Burchette later admitted to her involvement in the Auto Burglaries.
Lorie Burchette was arrested and charged with Auto Burglary and Theft under $500. She was transported to the Washington Co. Detention Center where she was held on an $11,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, 1/16/15 at 10:30 am.
