On 1/8/15, officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Alan Eugene Musick (Johnson City, 45 years old) charging him with criminal simulation and theft of property over $1,000.
The arrest is the result of an investigation into a fraudulent check that was cashed at First Bank and Trust, 1185 N. State of Franklin Rd., on 12/12/14. The original check was stolen from the mail, then altered to make it payable to Alan Eugene Musick. The amount on the check was also increased nearly $2,500 from the original amount. Musick presented his identification at the time of the transaction at First Bank and Trust.
On 1/8/15, officers located Alan Eugene Musick and placed him under arrest and transported to the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of a $15,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 9:00 a.m. on 1/8/15 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
