On 1/6/15, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Jamie Lee Stines, 28 years of age, of 149 Lovers Lane Elizabethton, TN and charged him with Aggravated Burglary.
At approximately 2:10 p.m., officers responded to 904 Jackson Ave after the resident reported to 911 that someone broke into his residence while he was at home. Officers arrived on scene and could hear yelling from inside the house between the suspect and resident. Officers made entry and found Mr. Stines hiding in a bedroom. Mr. Stines was placed under arrest and a search of his person revealed stolen items from the home. Stines was transported to Johnson City Medical Center where he was treated for a minor abrasion to his chin. He was released from the hospital and taken to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond. Arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. on 1/7/15 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
